Last Thought Of The Year 

Last entry in the last minute for 2004.

The airline industry will most likely be the first to feel the effect of any happenings around the world. Like the earthquake this time round; although I was off on that day, messages and phone calls from colleagues kept coming in either to ask if I know what was happening or telling me what was happening.

This few days after The Great Earthquake, flights to affected parts of the world are either delayed or cancelled while additional flights land with casualties and people coming home in relief. Flights to affected places are still taking off with anxious passengers returning to see if their homes are still intact or to search for missing kins. This are the times that we will not be penalized for not saying:"Have a pleasant flight." on such flights.

For those who can, do support the international relief effort by donating in cash or kind to the various agencies or by offering a prayer. Do not bully Mother Nature cause She will show you who's the boss when her patience is tested.
